Day 8 – Easter Sunday

Theme: The Resurrection

Read: John 20:1-16

Say: On the third day after Jesus died, He came back to life! Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to the tomb, but it was empty. Jesus wasn’t there! An angel of the Lord told them that He has risen, just as He said! The women ran to tell the disciples the good news.

Ask: What does the resurrection mean to you? Just like the women who found the empty tomb ran to tell others that Jesus had risen, who can you tell that Jesus Christ is risen and is alive today?!

Pray: God we thank you and praise you that Jesus Christ is ALIVE!! We praise you that you conquered sin and death when you raised your son Jesus back to life. Help us to tell others the Good News that Jesus is alive!

Do: Worship the Risen Savior by participating in Easter Worship as a family. Invite friends and family members to participate with you to share in the Good News of Easter.
