Day 6 – Good Friday

Theme: Jesus is Crucified

Read: Mark 14:53-63, 15:22-39

Say: When Jesus died on the cross, he paid the price that we deserved to pay for our sins. We deserve to die for our sin, but Jesus died in our place. He took on our punishment because he loves us that much! 

Ask: What does Jesus’ death on the cross mean for each of us? Did Jesus stay dead?

Pray: Dear God, we are sorry that our sins put Jesus on the cross. Thank you for sending your Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sin. Thank you for forgiving us when we turn from our sin and trust Jesus as our Lord and Savior.

Do: Create a simple Cross Craft with your children. Attend Good Friday Worship together as a family.
